Nintendo Announce Wii U Pro Controller

It would appear that the Wii U now has two controllers. Not only does it support the now named “Wii U Gamepad” which can be seen below:


It also supports the Wii U Pro controller which can be seen below:

A few things have been confirmed for the Gamepad, firstly it supports near-field communications, this means that the controller can interact with objects that are placed on the screen. This was first seen in the leaked Rayman Legends trailer which can be viewed below:

There is also a TV control button which will allow the user to have the image that is being displayed on the TV put on the Wii U’s Gamepad screen. The two analog sticks are also clickable, which is something that Nintendo controllers have not used before.
