LucasArts has unveiled  the new Star Wars release 1313, which stars a bounty hunter stalking targets in the capital of the Republic, Coruscant. Star Wars: 1313 is a third-person action adventure game described as a ‘mature’ title, and will take gamers in and around the seedy underworld of the planet, and give you access to “exotic weaponry” as you “uncover the truth surrounding a criminal conspiracy.”

Our film team previously reported in an article last month how Lucasfilm had applied for a trademark labelled ‘ Star Wars 1313’ which can be read here, in which it was stated that in a Star Wars novel Boba Fett uses the alias name of CT-1313, which perhaps indicates that Boba Fett is a main character or at least a featuring character of the new title.

As far as gameplay is concerned it involves a combination of cover-based shooting and platforming. There have been some below par releases related to Star Wars but they have achieved recent success with MMO The Old Republic. So all the big guns of Lucasfilm are preparing to wage war in order to get 1313 just right, as Industrial Light & Magic, Skywalker Sound and Lucasfilm Animation are all contributing.
