One of the coolest reveals at The Game Awards this year wasn’t even for a new game, but instead for two which have already been released. The iconic horror series, Outlast, will be making its way onto Nintendo Switch early next year with both I and II.

What was more interesting however, was in regards to the future of the series. Unlike the first Outlast, the second game in the series does not have any DLC in development, since according to the developers it does not make sense for them as the story was finished the way they wanted to.

They did mention that Outlast III will definitely happen at some point, which will answer most of the second game’s lingering questions, but made it clear that for now they are working on something a lot of fans have been asking for, which won’t be a sequel to the outlast games. As to what that actually is, only time will tell.
