Ms. Splosion Man Confirmed For 2011

If you haven’t had the chance to pick up Splosion Man as of yet, and what more of a better chance did players have last week with Black Friday reducing it’s 800 Microsoft Points price tag down to a measly 160 points, I would highly recommend you go and pick this Xbox Live Arcade platformer title up and you will see for yourself why it is much deserving of a sequel. Luckily for us, creators Twisted Pixel have announced today a sequel entitled: ‘Ms. Splosion Man.’

Ms. Splosion Man has been created in the labs of Big Science which coincidentally is the location where Splosion Man wreaked havoc. Following the long awaited capture of the energetic orange hero, the mock press release begins with his detainment:

“Even if some sort of newer, stronger, better threat were created, our newest security measures and fiendish traps would be more than enough to contain it. We’ve made incredible advances in our technology over this past year…. Not that there would ever be a use for any of it.”

The press release continues: “Everything has had functionality improvements and visual overhauls, and our company has expanded to some incredible new locations. It’s all pristine and beautiful…”

Big Science go on to state that there would never be a reoccurrence of the Splosion Man tragedy reaffirming their point by stating:

“What’s going to happen, some sort of freak accident in the after party that creates a “Ms. Splosion Man” mere seconds after Splosion Man’s capture? And then the Ms. Splosion Man goes on some monster tear in the fall of 2011? Yeah right.”
