Now I seriously do not care whether you like gaming on mobile or not, but you have to step back and just think how far we have come. I mean, if you were to tell me that we would be playing a triple A title like Bioshock or lets say Xcom, on our small mobile devices back when I was young, I’d have looked at my flip phone, stare back at you, burst into laughter then start hitting you over the head with the phone for being a heretic.

But now, we are getting the entire award winning experience of Bioshock on the palm of our hands, or our hands depending on whether you have an iPad or iPhone. That is right, the entire game will be available soon via the App Store as a premium title for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch.

I am only bummed because the apparent teases weren’t for the PS VITA version of Bioshock, which has for some reason, gone AWOL. I hope they live up to the experience on the mobile platforms, I know I will be forcing people I know to try it out.

The port will be compatible with iPad 4, iPad Mini 2 and iPad Air, plus iPhone 5, 5S and 5C.  Also according to Eurogamer, “The game’s touchscreen controls are easy to master and there’s a handy button to perform contextual actions – such as the ability to loot when standing over a corpse or crate.”
