‘Let’s Go Make Some Crazy Money!’ Crazy Taxi Now Available for iOS, Coming Soon to Android Devices

Announced just earlier this week via a teaser trailer, Crazy Taxi is now available on the iOS Appstore for £2.99/$4.99 for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad (iOS 4.3 up newer). The Dreamcast classic was released as part of the Dreamcast Collection in 2011 on the Xbox 360 and PC in 2010 alongside Sega Bass Fishing, Space Channel 5 Part 2 and Sonic Adventure, though now can be taken on the go, complete with the original music and mini games, the former of which was oddly missing from the console and PC rerelease.

Epitomising the arcade genre, Crazy Taxi is perfect for a pick up and play mobile audience, and hopefully we’ll see other Dreamcast classics make their way over soon, though we already know that Jet Set Radio is on the way. The price point is perfect for this classic arcade game, and with a relatively small 125mb universal app download, you’ll soon be cruising the busy streets taking everyone to their destination by drifting, jumping and weaving through the traffic.
