The final wave of the Gen 3 Pokémon from the Hoenn region is live now for the mobile hit, Pokémon Go.  Starting from today (February 9th) and ending on Tuesday February 13th, players will be able to catch such creatures as Salamence, Altaria, Metagross as well as more Flying and Dragon-types lurking in the wild.

A new Legendary Pokémon will also be available in Gyms via Raid Battles from this weekend, Rayquaza being the latest addition with that particular Pokémon being available until March 16th.  Currently, Ktogre is the other limited Legendary available for battles that will be available until Wednesday February 14th.

In addition to the new Gen 3 Pokémon, new creatures may hatch from Eggs and be available via standard Raid Battles at Gym’s, Lure Modules will also stay active for six hours until Friday February 23rd and they’ll be special boxes to purchase from the shop which includes items such as Raid Passes ,Incubators, Star Passes and more.  The special boxes will be available until February 23rd.

Also, during the week you may have gotten a surprise Ex Raid Battle invitation, I know I did.  However, while you’ll be able to keep that invitation until it expires on its set date, it was confirmed on the Pokémon Go blog that many of these invites were sent out courtesy of a bug.  Which as sods law would have it, I won’t be able to make use on my invite thanks to prior commitments and it is expected that Mewtwo will be the Pokémon that you’ll have a chance of catching.  [Poké] BALLS!
