Pokémon Go Kanto Event Live now, Snorlax featured Raid Battle

The latest Pokémon Go event is live now and it’s celebrating the home of the original generation of Pokémon from the Kanto region.  This means that they’ll be an increase of Pokémon in the wild such as Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle, and more.  There have even been reports of new Shiny Kanto Pokémon making an appearance, as shared on Reddit (also as seen below).  There will also be Kanto Pokémon appearing in Raid Battles, such as Aerodactyl and Snorlax.

As an added bonus, whenever you catch Pokémon from the Kanto region, you’ll be rewarded with double candy and they’ll be special boxes to purchase from the shop.  The Kanto event will end on April 17^th.
