It’s nearly here, we are just mere days away from the release of Red Dead Redemption 2.  The game itself looks to be stunning and Rockstar Games will no doubt add another classic to their ever-growing impressive résumé.  However, Rockstar looks to enhance our experience furthermore with the release of an accompanying companion app to launch alongside the game this coming Friday.

The app will be available to download on compatible iOS and Android devices, and will not only show the world map in great detail, but you will also be able to access the in-game diary, and it even displays the HUD features such as health and stealth gauges.  This app should be ideal for such a visually pleasing game, especially for those that love to snap in-game screenshots to their hearts content.

Also, at least they’ll be no pet dog to look after and poop to clean up this time, unless we have to clean up horse poop that is, but I hope not.  Red Dead Redemption 2 will release this week on the 26th for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
