Have you been wondering what Heroes of the Storm plays like? Well wonder no more, Blizzard unveiled a 17 minute gameplay video of their upcoming take on the MOBA genre. It’s based on a map called Dragon Shire and the idea seems to be similar to normal laning play on LoL and DotA 2, but with a slight twist. There are two shrines placed at either end of the map, controlling both allows you to try and channel the dragon statue, once completed the player will unlock this huge behemoth and can go stomping around the map with him.

The victory conditions remain the same as you would expect; destroy the enemy Ancient/Nexus with towers and fortifications blocking your path. Obviously controlling the Dragon Knight is essential to victory, being that the mighty lizard is a walking tank.

Anyway, I’ll stop being overly excited and let you watch the video. We still have no release date for Heroes of the Storm, but we can hope that a beta is coming soon.
