Alan Wake 2 is getting New Game Plus

Following the launch of the highly anticipated Alan Wake II this week, developer Remedy Entertainment has announced that the game will soon be getting a New Game Plus courtesy of a free post-launch update.

At the time of writing, no release date has been announced for the free update, but we do know that it will also include a new Nightmare difficulty, new weapons and upgrades, new alternative narrative, new Manuscript pages as well as new video content. This free DLC is in addition to the two paid expansions that we also know are on the way.

Alan Wake II is out now on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
