Sega and The Creative Assembly have released some juicy new screenshots for the scariest Alien game in a very long time, Alien: IsolationAlien: Isolation is set between Ridley Scott’s 1978 Alien and James Cameron’s 1986 Aliens.  To be exact Alien: Isolation is set in the year 2137, 15 years after the events of Alien and 42 years before Aliens.  The story focuses on Amanda Ripley, the daughter of the legendary Ellen Ripley.  Amanda is investigating the whereabouts of her mother after she had seemingly disappeared.

With what little leads Amanda has, she is ordered to travel to the Sevastopol Space Station, in which she hopes to recover crucial data that will hopefully lead Amanda to her mother’s location.  But it seems that Amanda has let herself in for far more then she had ever expected, as the space station has an inhabitant…a terrifying 10ft Xenomorph.

Rather than having an infestation of Xenomorph’s in the game, there is simply just the one alien, which makes it all the more terrifying.  The Xenomorph will stalk Amanda throughout and she has very little to defend herself, in most cases it’s a simple case of run or die!  Fans of horror games such as Amnesia, Slenderman and the recent Outlast will know the kind of horror that will be in store with Alien: Isolation.

Don’t believe me to how scary this game will be? Then just watch the 10 minute preview from the Official Playstation Magazine found below to find out, along with the all new screenshots.  Unlike previous screenshots where they featured the Xenomorph, the focus of these new images are all about the location.
