Alone in the Dark remake has been delayed, again

Unfortunately, the upcoming Alone in the Dark remake has been delayed once again.

Developed by Pieces Interactive and published by THQ Nordic, the Alone in the Dark remake starring Jodie Comer (Killing Eve) and David Harbour (Stranger Things) was announced in August 2022.

Initially, Alone in the Dark was set to be released in August 2023, before it was delayed the following month to avoid a busy release schedule until 16 January 2024. Now, once again just a month before its scheduled release, it has been delayed again.

This time, THQ Nordic announced on social media that the game has now been delayed until 20 March 2024 to avoid working crunch hours. Look, as much as I’m looking forward to this game, I understand the reasons. After all, health and mental well-being come first, I wouldn’t want the developers to have a stressful Christmas. I just hope that there’s nothing more going on and I hope that this Alone in the Dark remake will be the best game that it can be.

Alone in the Dark will be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
