The sequel to one of the most scary games of all time has been released for purchase on Steam, GoG and other online outlets. Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs is a survival-horror game where you have no weapons to defend yourself, but have only the shadows to help you from whatever lurks in your path.

The game, takes place 60 years after the terrifying events of the first game, and follows the story of a man called, “Oswald Mandus”; a wealthy Industrialist who one night, wakes up with a fever, having just experienced the most horrific dream he has ever had. Dreams about  a dark and hellish engine. That night plunges Oswald into a living breathing nightmare, where if he doesn’t act fast, he might just lose his children.

The game has been developed by The Chinese Room, with the soundtrack written by Jessica Curry. Who I can personally say is amazingly talented! Just go ahead and listen to the beautiful music of Dear Esther if you don’t know what I’m talking about! In fact, if you like what you hear, why not go buy Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs soundtrack from bandcamp or just listen to the soundtrack. Be warned though, both the game and soundtrack have a tendency to creep you out, especially if you have your lights off during the night.
