Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag – Building A Next Gen Open World

Ubisoft has released a video detailing some of the small technical joys that will make the biggest of difference for the forthcoming Assassins Creed 4: Black Flag.  The video is narrated by Associate Producer Sylvain Trottier as he highlights and explains what the next gen technology will bring to the table.

Personally I have never got so excited over the smallest of details, but during the video we see some very impressive weather and environmental effects that will add to AC4: Black Flag’s open world immersiveness.

Assassins Creed 4: Black Flag will release on the PC, PS3, Wii U and Xbox 360 on October 29^th in North America and then November 1^st across Europe.  It will also of course release on the next gen console for the PS4 on November 15^th in North America and the 29^th in Europe, also on the Xbox One worldwide on November 22^nd.
