Assassins Creed: Unity Officially Revealed With Trailer

AC-Unity-logo01

Two days ago Kotaku leaked some screenshots that revealed the next new gen Assassins Creed title, which was believed to have the codename Assassins Creed: Unity.  Well Ubisoft have now confirmed this title by releasing a new trailer and if the footage is anything to go by, then Unity is the actual name of the next Assassins Creed game, and not just the codename.

The description in the YouTube video states that this title has been in development for three years and it also mentions that what we see is in-game footage.

Assassins Creed: Unity will release for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One at the end of the year.  The other AC game believed to be called Assassins Creed: Comet will release for the Xbox 360 and PS3.

There’s no official word as of yet to whether either game will release in the Wii U (which would be surprising if it didn’t), neither is there word that AC: Comet will also release on the PC along with AC: Unity.  But I’m sure we’ll learn more in the coming months.
