An image tweeted by AccessTheAnimus just may have leaked a pre-order bonus for the forthcoming Assassins Creed: Unity.  The pre-order bonus in question is an extra mission called the Chemical Revolution.  While the image looks to be genuine, it is of course not confirmed by Ubisoft at this time, but I have no doubts that we will have official confirmation in near future.

In the mean time, checkout that tweet below:

The chemical revolution was set in the late 1700’s and based on the work from French chemist Antoine Lavoisier and his work was said to have changed the practice and concepts of chemistry.  Lavoisier was the man that discovered the composition of air and water, and even came up with the term ‘oxygen’.

The Assassins Creed’s series has become known for their somewhat alternative history storytelling and settings, and  Assassins Creed: Unity looks set to be no exception.  AC: Unity  releases later this year for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One, along with the PS3 and Xbox 360’s Assassins Creed: Comet.
