It has been announced that Assassin’s Creed: Unity has been delayed from October until November.  Though it’s not as bad as it seems (assuming it doesn’t get put back any further), as in fact it’s only really a two week delay, rather than a month.

AC: Unity (PC/PS4/Xbox One) which was scheduled to release on October 31st, will now release alongside Assassin’s Creed: Rogue (PS3/Xbox 360) on November 11th.

The news was announced today on the Ubisoft blog.  This is what senior producer of AC: Unity Vincent Pontbriand had to say in regards to this minor delay “This being a fully next-gen game, it requires a lot of work, a lot of production, and a lot of learning,” he then addedIt’s always hard to be precise and to quantify exactly how much work is involved. So as we get close to the finish we often realize we’re near the target but we’re not quite there yet.

Hopefully with it being only a short delay, it should mean that Assassin’s Creed: Unity just needs a few minor tweaks here and there.
