Batman: Arkham Knight – Red Hood Revealed As Pre-Order Bonus

Yesterday via the GameStop Facebook page, they posted an image with the message “Big announcement for a big game tomorrow”.  Naturally many speculated as to what this big announcement will be; well know it has been revealed a little earlier than planned due to an image leak (though it is now officially out by GameStop anyway).  Which is actually quite fitting considering GameStop tends to have the habit of often doing the same themselves.

The announcement was in fact a pre-order bonus for Batman: Arkham Knight that will feature Red Hood.  Now I’m sure most of you Bats fans will know of the Red Hood, but in case you didn’t know, the Red Hood was the original character before he morphed into The Joker.  The DLC description reads “Red Hood Story Pack – Play as the ruthless vigilante in the exclusive story pack.”

With the DLC being story based, it will be interesting to see how it fits into Arkham Knight, after that ending of Arkham City.  Will it fit into the main campaign or will it be a separate story in its own right?  Below is the original ‘distorted’ image from GameStop’s post yesterday and also the leaked image from today revealing the Red Hood.

Batman: Arkham Knight is expected to release early 2015 for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
