EA/DICE have released the PC specs for their upcoming shooter, Battlefield 4. The third in the series caused quite a stir with it being claimed before release that it would require 2 x GTX580 in SLI to max it out. This was all marketing spiel of course as many people had no trouble running it on maxed settings with lesser hardware.

This time around it seems that the recommended specs are not that much beyond the third title. It isn’t really surprising as the graphics engine is pretty much the same with a bit of window dressing. The specs were tweeted on the 9th of September by the official Battlefield account.

It may seem quite high-spec on the face of it, anyone running the same machine that was recommended spec for BF3 shouldn’t have a problem. The beta is also nearly upon us as its October time frame creeps in to view.

I will be very interested to try it out and will have an in depth beta impressions for you to read as soon as I’ve satiated my battle lust. So have your papers ready soldier.
