Battlefield Hardline – New Teaser Trailer & Screenshots Released

Battlefield Hardline had quickly become one of the hottest stories from the moment the details about it were leaked, with half of the players praising it for its change, and the others moaning like gamers usually do. Now, EA and Visceral Entertainment have just released the official, “non-leaked” trailer that sets the stage for perhaps what we will see in E3.

According to EA, and what was mentioned in the leaked video, the game will follow the story of a young hot-shot cop who seeks revenge through a trail of hell-bent world filled with shady informants, ruthless crime lords and lose-all foot soldiers. The story is said to be presented in a TV show format reminiscent of classic shows like The Shield, and executed something like Alan Wake, where each episode is designed to hook you from the start and leave you hanging by the cliff at its end.

October 21st appeared at the end of the video so that is what I’ll assume to be the release date, no solid confirmation was given about the platforms it will be available for though, but we can safely say PS4, Xbox One and PC for now. Also, in case you are wondering, the song in the trailer below is called Jungle by Jamie N Commons & X Ambassadors.
