Binding of Isaac refused eShop release

Nintendo has refused to release The Binding of Isaac on the 3DS eShop.

Edmund McMillen had tweeted that after a long debate the game was chosen NOT to be released onto the eShop because of “questionable religious content”

The game draws inspiration from the biblical story about Abraham, who is asked by God to sacrifice his son, Isaac. You play as the young Isaac, naked,as you have just escaped your blood thirsty mother!

The game is currently available on PC, Mac and Linux.
