BioWare Teases Dragon Age 4 at #TheGameAwards

As already teased last week, BioWare announced a new Dragon Age game at The Game Awards.  The announcement was made via a teaser trailer, which never gave away too much, other than revealing the hashtag at the end of the trailer #DreadWolfRises.  That hashtag does have significance to Dragon Age: Inquisition, but I won’t be going into spoiler territory here.

On the BioWare blog, Executive Producer, Mark Darrah said “While we won’t be sharing any details for now, I can tell you we have been building a new team around a core of Dragon Age veterans, people I’ve worked with on Dragon Age, Jade Empire, and some of whom I’ve worked with since the Baldur’s Gate days.

While this new Dragon Age title has already been in development for several years already, it is expected that it still might not arrive for another couple of years at least.  So it’s likely that it will be a next-gen game, though it might release on multiple generation consoles, as Inquisition did.

You can check out the new Dragon Age teaser trailer below and when we learn of any further details, we’ll update you right here.
