Blood Bowl 2 Announced, First Trailer Released

Cyanide and Focus Home Interactive, have recently released the first trailer for the sequel to one of the most fan-popular games of all time, Blood Bowl. The game has been secretly in development for a year over at Cyanide Studio, where the fan favorite commentators, Jim Johnson the Vampire, and Bob Bifford the Ogre, are being animated and modeled in their Cabalvision studio, which will be the main interface for the game. Jim and Bob will also be seen interviewing major players during the campaign, which will be presented in a Cabalvision theme.

The game follows up on the first game, which was based on Games Workshop’s boardgame that twists American football, with a fantasy universe inspired by Warhammer, all in a bloody and explosive cocktail of turn-based strategy. From the trailer, the game looks to be hilarious and well written, elements that are really supported by the top-class voice acting!  The game is planned to release in the second half of 2013 for the PC.
