It’s already a great day for PC gamers; with the release of System Shock 2 by way of my favourite developers at GOG.com and Steam, there is no shortage of good times to be had in the next couple of weeks. It’s all about to get even better with the news that Double Fine Studios will be releasing this little gem for PC on February 26th.

Brütal Legend was released on console in 2009 to unabated acclaim, boasting diverse open-world third person action accompanied by RTS elements. It wasn’t for everyone, but as with most things to do with Tim Schafer, it was very nicely put together and executed.

You can pre-purchase the game now on Steam for just over £10; with any luck, the port will be a decent one and we can avoid the usual adult discussions on the forums. There is also the added bonus of Team Fortress 2 goodies for people who pre-purchase.

I can’t think of any rock/metal related jokes to end with, so I will just give you some friendly advice to not miss out on what was (and still is) a great game.
