Bungie and Activision has had a rough time of it lately, and in a lot of cases, rightly so.  One of the issues that the Destiny community has had, is with the lack of communication (among many other things), but now in an attempt to better communicate with their community, Bungie has outlined the short-term roadmap for the forthcoming Destiny 2 content.

For example later this month on the 27th with update 1.1.3, we can expect to see changes and improvements made to the Strikes and Social aspects of Destiny 2, such as reducing the duplicates of Exotics, being able to see Fireteam members on the Destination Map, as well as Nightfall Scoring & High Score Tracking to go along with its “unique rewards.

Then on March 27th with update 1.1.4, we will see Sandbox and Crucible modes getting extra love and care, which includes Heroic Strike Modifiers, 6v6 Iron Banner, a reduction on repetitive rotation of maps for Crucible and Strike playlists, and penalties for those that quit Crucible matches.  Now, I’m no quitter when I’m getting my ass kicked, but it will be interesting to see how the penalties are implemented, because I have quit some matches when lag has been unbearable or if I suspect certain players of cheating (such as being able to kill you from one side of the map or literally becoming bullet-proof on several occasions).

Then in season three of Destiny 2, we’ll get update 1.2.0, which will not only see Expansion 2 launch in May (as confirmed by Bungie’s Christopher Barrett on Twitter), but we’ll also have a Prestige Mode for the Eater of Worlds Raid, Seasonal Crucible Rankings, Vault space increased, a multi-emote tool, Exotic Masterworks, various improvements towards progression, private matches and more.

Hopefully Bungie can fix all the concerns that loyal fans have had with Destiny 2 and actually learn from their mistakes by not repeating their mistakes, only time will tell.  You can read more details over at Bungie.net and by checking out the image above.
