As of now, the only way you can get hold of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is by either purchasing premium version of Infinite Warfare or by paying way over the odds on such places as eBay.  However, that may very well be changing soon if a product page from game rental retailer GameFly is to be believed.  That page has since been removed, but thankfully CharlieIntel got all the apparent ‘Intel’ that we need.

The listing details that Modern Warfare Remastered will arrive as a standalone title on June 30th for PlayStation 4 and then for Xbox One on July 30th. PC is not detailed (likely down to PC rentals not being available), but it’s a safe bet that it will arrive on that format too.  The remaster coming to PS4 a month early also makes sense, due to Activision’s timed exclusivity deal that they have with Sony.

This of course is not confirmed by Activision, but now that this rumour has been outed and if true (which I believe the standalone release is inevitable), the publisher may very well officially announce something in the coming days.

Also just this week, another Call of Duty rumour has surfaced in the form of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombie Chronicles, you can read up on those details here.  And also be sure to check out our review of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.
