Capcom are Teasing New Resident Evil Gameplay Announcement
Over on their official YouTube channels and a website, Capcom appear to be teasing a new Resident Evil that will be revealed at the Tokyo Game Show next month on September 9th. We know that recently Capcom has been bringing in people located in Japan to test out a new Resident Evil, so it makes sense that this will be the announcement. Plus with the game currently been teased as Project Resistance, the “RE” on the logo is clearly emphasised.
According to the teaser website it invites attendee’s to “come to the booth’s stage to see members of the development team show off gameplay! This will be the world’s first look at the game, so you won’t want to miss it!” So it’s all but guaranteed that we will get to see some proper gameplay.
The reveal is teased to happen at 3pm UTC, which is around 4pm in the UK.
We’re not sure whether this will be Resident Evil 8 or a Resident Evil 3: Nemesis remake, but I’m thinking that it will be RE8, but we’ll know soon enough. Are you excited for this pending announcement? Let us know across our social media channels
