You may have seen all the hands-on previews going live yesterday for the Resident Evil 3 remake, if not, there’s many of them and their easy to find.  The Resident Evil series is my all-time favourite and for that reason, I’ll be doing all I can to avoid all those previews, screenshots and videos.  The reason being is that I miss the days of not knowing too much before going into a game.  Prior to the release of the Resident Evil 2 remake, Capcom were releasing trailers left, right and centre.

I feel too much is revealed nowadays and there’s little left to surprise, especially within the horror genre.  I always revert back to the original Resident Evil remake on the Nintendo GameCube in 2002, there were new areas to discover and new enemies, and it was amazing, as well as terrifying not knowing a thing about the Crimson Zombies orLisa Trevor.  Heck, Capcom could have just announced that they are releasing the Resident Evil 3 remake this April with no trailer or screenshots, and I’d be just as excited, if not more so.

Anyway, enough of my ramblings as Capcom have announced on their social media channels that a playable demo will soon launch for Resident Evil 3, we’ll update this article when we have all the details, which will be revealed “in the near future!

Do you share my beliefs of publishers and developers sharing too much or do you want all the information?  Let us know across our social media channels.  The Resident Evil 3 remake will release for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on April 3rd.
