Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions Releases August, Collector Edition’s Announced

Finally, Bandai Namco has announced the release date for Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions, a videogame based upon a popular anime series that I know next to nothing about, but as a football fan on the lookout for something different, this game excited me when I first saw its debut trailer some months back.

Alongside the release date announcement, a variety of awesome collector editions were revealed, which are exclusive to the Bandai Namco online store, including one at a mere cost of £1789.99!  So what editions are available?  Well, let’s start with the very expensive (but awesome) Legends Edition.

Priced at £1789.99, the Legends Edition comes with a full-sized, fully customised football table, a football jersey from the game, a 28cm figure featuring star of the story mode Tsubasa Ozora and much more.  You can check out the image and all the details below.

This Legends Edition includes:

Oh and that is not all, because a new gameplay trailer has been released, showing the nations of England, France, Netherlands, Italy and Uruguay for the very first time in the game.

Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions will release for PC, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on August 28th.
