Lords of Shadow II, which featured the largest videogame orchestra, will be getting its soundtrack on the 25th of February, just days before the release of the game. As you know, this is possibly due to the partnership between Konami and Sumthing Else, whose release will even feature exclusive never before heard tracks.

The game’s groundbreaking music has been composed by Oscar Araujo and was recorded at the famous Abbey Road Studio. As most music fans might know, music for a lot of big projects from the likes of John Williams, Hans Zimmer, for products such as Lords of the Rings and Star Wars have been recorded there, not to mention The Beatles are most popularly associated with that place. Also, they have some of the most talented people working for them there, who truly give your music a unique uplift.

Now, of course, the soundtrack can be bought at popular retailers like Amazon, and iTunes when it releases, but buying the extended Director’s Cut edition directly from Sumthing Else’s website, will give you a total of 11 extra tracks, that aren’t available anywhere else.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 will be released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC in North America on February 25 2014, and in Europe on February 28 2014. Also, fans will be happy to know that the demo, which will allow users to get familiar with the many new advances, including the game’s all new controllable camera, epic locations, and intuitive combat elements, has just been released on Steam, PSN and Xbox Live, so go ahead and try that out!
