Champions Online becoming free to play

Cryptic Studios have announced their decision for their MMORPG, Champions Online to become free to play starting January 25th 2011. Whilst no payments will be required there will be additional “Adventure Packs” available to purchase.
There will still be the option to pay a monthly subscription which has it’s own benefits. For a list of differences between free and paid subscriptions click here.
