Prey is shaping up to be an interesting sci-fi game that utilises amazing gameplay mechanics mixed with impressive movie level graphical effects, such as the recycler warping effect you will see in the newly released gameplay. Not only that, but most players will be pleased to know that Arkane is doing what it does best, which is giving players an experience that they can encounter however they want. The game looks to be an interesting mix between Dishonored and Bioshock so far.

What particularly impresses me however is the game’s advanced audio that plays in with excellent enemy design. Not to mention, the weapons look inventive and some can be used for more than attacking hostiles, such as the Gloo Cannon, which appears to freeze items and even create climbable platforms that you can use to get to unreachable places.

Prey will be available for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One in Spring 2017, most likely May.
