Chuchel, a quirky adventure game by Amanita Design is released

If you’re into your cutesy, weird adventure games, then Chuchel should definitely be up your alley.

Created by Amanita Design, those behind the wonderful Machinarium, Samarost and Botanicula, Chuchel continues that esoteric form.

Guiding the fuzzy titular hero, you will have to solve puzzles and challenges in this bizarre world in order to retrieve a cherry.

Much like Botanicula, the gameplay seems to take the simple form of ‘clicking on things to see what happens’, but in a world of strange creatures and objects this should be more than enough, as was the case with Botanicula – satisfying your curiosity and watching the strange reactions of the world was a joy.

Botanicula was a personal favourite of mine, and Chuchel looks to carry the same cutesy humour and design.

The game is already out on PC and phone, the former for a reasonable £7.99.
