CoD: Advanced Warfare Zombies Confirmed By GameStop & Gameplay Footage

Exo-Survivor-zombies

Last week a big old leak made its way around the internet that strongly suggested that Call of Duty: Zombies will be making its return in Advanced Warfare.  The video showed a cutscene with a solider sprinting to a helicopter for an extraction, while being chased by the hordes of the undead.  While the video was as close to confirmation as you could get without Activision confirming it themselves ‘officially’, it left many wondering how the popular mode would be introduced.

Today we have further developments and solid confirmation of its existence in the game, as courtesy of a press release from GameStop, the Zombies mode will be included in the season pass content via DLC.  The press release mentions “Zombies”, but doesn’t say much more.  But, as seen from the YouTube upload below, the zombie’s mode can be unlocked by completing all maps in the Exo-Survival mode.  Though its only in a teaser-like form and what’s seen in the video below, is apparently all of the Zombie mode content that you’ll be getting with the release copy of Advanced Warfare.  So one would safely assume that all the remaining content will be included in future DLC, which will of course also be included in the season pass.
