Crash Team Racing Remake Glides it’s Way into 2019 Release #TheGameAwards
Following recent rumours, the popular 90’s rival to Mario Kart, Crash Team Racing is getting remade for this new generation with Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fuelled. It will feature all the playable characters from the original, such as Crash (of course), Coco, Dr. Neo Cortex and more as you try to save the planet from destruction at the hands of Nitro Oxide. Speaking of which, Nitro Oxide will now be a playable character in this remake, this villain will be instantly unlocked, along with his Hovercraft Kart if you pick up the Deluxe Edition. However, all players can also unlock him by completing challenges in Adventure mode.
In terms of modes, as well as the adventure mode, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled will also include Arcade Single Race and Cup Race, Time Trials and Battle Mode. You’ll also be able to take the action online too, to compete against friends and strangers.
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled will release for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on June 21st, 2019. In the meantime, be sure to check out the gameplay trailer below and some new screenshots, which includes some comparisons to the original game.
