Not meaning to dump on Nintendo’s parade, but it’s revealed that the newly released Nanosuit bearing FPS, Crysis 2, holds the number one spot in the UK video game charts. This is despite the line-up of brand new Nintendo 3DS releases, including LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars and the well received Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition, that were launched alongside the brand-new (and awesome) handheld console.

Crysis 2 and all of the 3DS’s launch games released on Friday, March 26th.

In regards to other First-Person-Shooters, Homefront puts up a very good fight as it holds third place in the chart, despite being out a whole week earlier.

Here is the top 10 in the UK Video Game chart, week ending March 26th 2011:

1. Crysis 2
2. Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars
3. Homefront
4. Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition
5. Pokemon White
6. Pilotwings Resort
7. Pokemon Black
8. The Sims: Medieval
9. Rayman 3D
10. FIFA 11

Crysis 2 is out now on Playstation 3, PC, and Xbox 360.
