Namco Bandai has recently announced that Dark Souls 3 will have its own season pass. The season pass will be available to purchase separately, but will also be included within the Deluxe Edition of the game. Also, the Special Edition of Dark Souls 3 is set feature a copy of the game, the previously mentioned season pass, the official soundtrack, and last but not least, an animated theme for the PlayStation 4.

Specific content of the season pass is set to be announced in the coming months, however, it has been recently confirmed that it will in the very least contain two DLC packs. Whether the packs will feature additional story DLC, or simply sets of weapons and armour is  still unknown. But judging by the Dark Souls expansion titled Artorias of the Abyss, and the Dark Souls II story DLC, The Lost Crowns, we can expect to see at least one major content pack in the upcoming iteration of the Dark Souls series.

Dark Souls 3 is set to launch globally on 12th of April, with exception of Japan, as the game is set to be released there on 24th of March. it will launch simultaneously on PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One.
