Dark Souls II – Curse Trailer

 

Dark Souls II is set to overtake, improve on and re-define challenging RPG’s with its second installment coming out in a mere two months! Featuring some of the creepiest scenes and haunting voice overs in the game thus far, new monsters show their faces, horrific looking bosses including something that has no face! One of these great monsters looks like a cross between the Balrog and Ifrit from the Final Fantasy series! The environment design has gotten more beautiful than ever, the character design and flow of things as simple as capes on the back looks smooth and free flowing, and the darkness of the abyss makes a return. A quick feature that appeared in game was two red phantoms fighting each other, which would indicate PVP, something that fans of Dark Souls will be very pleased to see and hear.

March is going to be a gaming month so heavy its hard to comprehend which games are best to play, with that said, Dark Souls II is a strong contender for the PS3, which is seeing an onslaught of fantastic games coming out this year.

Dark Souls II is set for a March 14th release date in the UK, following in a trench full of fantastic releases across all consoles, but with its unique approach to challenging gameplay and its fans eager for more I doubt it has a trouble in the world to be concerned with!
