Remember how the rumour about a late April release date was circulating around for Dark Souls II and how Namco didn’t have a comment about it? Well, it turns out that it was correct as Namco Bandai and From Software have just announced that the PC version of Dark Souls 2 will be coming on April 25th.

As far as we know at the moment, From Software had promised the PC user base, that the game would be a much better port than its predecessor and will have proper keyboard and mouse implementation, with cutting edge graphical features that can only be afforded by a good PC, like increased texture resolution and an enhanced frame rate option.

According to the press release:

As for console, and while supplies last, fans pre-ordering the game will receive the Black Armour Edition – containing an Exclusive Metal Case, the Original Game Soundtrack and an early access to the Black Armour Weapon Set – or if pre-ordered on STEAM® fans will get bonuses –  digital soundtrack and the early access to the Black Armour Weapon Set, the Official Dark Souls™ II Artbook in PDF format and The complete Dark Souls™ II Digital Comic Book (written by Rob Williams and Andi Ewington with art provided by Simon Coleby) as digital extras for a complete immersion in the universe of DARK SOULS™ II.

The game aims to kill you again and again when it releases, by pitting you against some HOLY-MOTHER-OF-GOD monsters that will smash you like a bug, eat your heart for breakfast and then use your bones as toothpick  right after they’ve had your brain jelly for dessert. The game will release on the  PS3 and Xbox 360 on the 14th of March, and for the PC on April 25th .  Good luck… seriously, GOOD LUCK. Also you might need to use a cheap controller while you are playing this.
