Dark Souls Remastered announced for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch!

The rumours were true as it was officially announced by Bandai Namco that the original Dark Souls will be getting remastered and it will be coming to PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, with added visual enhancements made for PS4 Pro and Xbox One X.  Coming to Switch is also a very interesting choice, especially being able to play it on the go; I just hope that it performs to a great standard that the series deserves.

On the PC, PS4 and Xbox One versions it will run at 1080p (upscalled to 4K for compatible systems) at 60fps.  On Nintendo Switch it will have a resolution of 1080p when docked (so I assume 720p when not) running at 30fps.  The online (for all systems) will support up to six player co-op at any one time, so the teamwork or all-out slaughtering should be great fun.

Dark Soul: Remastered will release for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on May 25th 2018.  In the meantime, be sure to check out its announcement trailer below and some box art images.
