Update: Darks Souls 3 Release Date, Collector Editions, Pre-Order Incentives

Update 11/01/16: If like you’ve been desperate to pre-order the awesome Dark Souls III: Prestige Edition, but could not find the option to pre-order on Amazon in the UK, that’s because it had sold out almost instantly on PS4 (within 2 hours) and Xbox One, and it seems the PC version is also now out of stock.  So unless you’re incredibly desperate with money to burn, inflated eBay prices may now be your only option.  The Collector’s Edition which is available at Amazon and Game is also said to be on limited supply.

Also, I have it on good word from Bandai Namco that the Apocalypse Edition which is available exclusively at Game in the UK, is also now running low on stock, so get in their quick if you want this particular edition.  Apparently the Apocalypse Edition will not be available at launch once all the pre-orders have been taken up.  You can check out all the details on the various editions available (or not as I type) from my original article piece below.

Dark Souls III will release for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on April 12th.

Original Story 07/12/15: Finally the new release date for Dark Souls III has been announced and it will be arriving on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on April 12th 2016.  Not only that, but new details have been released in regards to which UK retailer will be stocking particular Collector Editions, as well as whom is offering what pre-order incentives.

Below are each of the various editions available, along with details, pre-order incentives and images.  As an added bonus, Bandai Namco has released a new Dark Souls III gameplay trailer for which you can find above.
