Darksiders II Live Action Trailer Revealed

THQ have released a brand new cinematic live-action trailer, titled The Last Sermon for its upcoming highly anticipated title DarksidersII. The Last Sermon, starring Game of Thrones’ James Cosmo tells a story of mankind’s last hours on earth after War, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, is tricked into prematurely bringing about the end of the world while portraying the sequel’s protagonist, Death, in a way fans haven’t seen him before.

“After War is imprisoned for bringing about the apocalypse, Death’s whereabouts are shrouded in mystery” said Jim Huntley, Vice President of Global Brand Marketing. “The Last Sermon gives fans an idea of what he may have been up to during that time.”

As well as the general cinematic trailer there will be an extended director’s cut which will be unveiled exclusively at Facebook.com/Darksiders. The action-packed thriller is scheduled for release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in August 2012, aswell as a WiiU version that is to be released during the console’s launch.
