Date For Steam Summer Sale Revealed

 

A leaked image posted on NeoGAF today confirmed that the Steam Summer Sale will begin on June 19th and run until June 30th.

Although there has yet to be an official announcement from Valve themselves, the image posted on NeoGAF shows the dates which the next seasonal Steam sale will take place.

Steam Sales often see PC gamers frantically purchasing anything and everything on the Steam Store as the prices are dramatically reduced. The Steam Store is often renowned as being a place where games can often be found for very cheap and the Summer Sale signals one of the times of the year where game collections will expand whether you really wanted the game or not.

As a PC Gamer who only re-entered the world of desktop gaming at the start of February, this will be my first experience of a definitive Steam Sale. The price of PC games was one of the main attractions to me ignoring the lure of the latest consoles and instead opting to build my own PC. I have already been more than impressed with the ‘Daily Deals’ which feature on Steam and the Summer Sale is something I’m eagerly anticipating.
