Bundles, who doesn’t love bundles? Especially if they include indie gems that are dime a dozen. Well good news if you are as enthusiastic as me about indie games as The Chinese Room’s critically acclaimed game, Dear Esther, is now included with the Indie Jam 3 Bundle on Bundle Stars.

Yes, that is right, not only do you get games like Sanctum, Commando or Two Worlds to play after a small fee (£3.77) but also Dear Esther now as well. Furthermore, if you have already purchased the bundle, feel relieved in knowing that the game’s key should be accessible to you via your account page, so go there to check it out.

Now, for those of you that do not know about the game, Dear Esther is a beautifully interactive game in which you must find out more about yourself by finding out about Esther via heartbreaking letters that are scattered about the small island. The game had been developed by The Chinese Room, whose Amnesia sequel you might have just played. So be sure to check it out, as it is a touching experience, and relaxing nonetheless.  This game showed us that the video game format is something diverse, an interactive art-medium where many unique experiences can be shared and they don’t have to be too exciting or violent to do that.

Also, do remember to go to the game’s composer Jessica Curry’s Bandcamp page to listen to some amazing themes from this game, as they are truly breathtaking!

Lastly, if you don’t follow Bundle Stars, I will advice you to do so as you will regularly come across some really amazing bundles for jaw-dropping prices. For example, not only can you get the indie jam 3 bundle at the moment, but you can also grab the previous or standalone bundles which include stellar games each! So be sure to go to their website and check them out.
