Destiny 2 “Go Fast” Update Now Live, but Will It Bring You Back?

0

Patch 1.1.4 aka the “Go Fast” update is now live for Destiny 2, which is designed to bring a more intense, faster pace to the game, both in PvP and PvE.  The update will not only increase the speed of the Guardians, but it will also increase the speed of the Super recharge and rather then nerfing guns said to be over-powered, all other weapons have been brought up to their level, dealing more damage from across the board.  However, not only has character speed and supers been sped up a notch, but power ammo crates will also respawn faster too in PvP.

Other changes include Nightfall having unique rewards again; rotating Strike playlists will no longer play the same maps back-to-back, Crucible will have a weekly rotating playlist, as well as 6v6 returning for Iron Banner, Mayhem and Rumble.  There are loads of tweaks and improvements made to Destiny 2 including weapons and abilities, so you can see the full patch-list over on Bungie.net and you can check out the overview trailer below.

If you’ve had a hiatus with Destiny 2, are these improvements enough to lure you back?  I know I’m at least going to check them out.  The second expansion for Destiny 2, The Fallen Warmind is set to release this Spring, with this update being a part of its preparation.  You can also read our review of Destiny 2 here.
