For those of you who have finished Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and are demanding more, well here are some brand-new assets to get you hyped for the first DLC add-on for the cyberpunk epic – The Missing Link.

In the DLC, we see main protagonist, Adam Jensen, with his augmentations disabled after being held captive on a Belltower cargo ship. It is now up to Jensen to retrieve his augmentations, and escape the ship in one peice.

First of all, here are three brand-new screenshots that shows Adam Jensen sneaking through a Belltower cargo ship, as well as one shot that could potentially be a new character that you will be acquainted with. However, what could arguably be seen as the biggest highlight are the technical improvements. Don’t get me wrong — Human Revolution is an incredible looking game, but it is obvious that there are notable improvements in regards to lighting effects. This is also presented in the new walkthrough trailer that we have for you aug-fans out there.

The walkthrough trailer, narrated by Lead Narrative Designer Mary DeMarie, takes you through 5 minutes worth of gameplay, showing off some swanky ninja skills that would make Solid Snake look like an amateur (well, only a little bit).

With the screenshots and the new walkthrough trailer; stealth gameplay is obviously a focal point to The Missing Link DLC, which will suit DE: HR fans quite nicely. And with Edios Montreal stating that there is approximately 5 hours worth of gameplay in the DLC, it would be absurd to miss out on the next adventure of one of the most critically acclaimed titles of 2011.

Edios Montreal has not yet announced a price or final release date of The Missing Link DLC for Deus Ex: Human Revolution, but should be arriving sometime in October for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
