Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition Gameplay Trailer & Screenshots

When the DmC: Definitive Edition was first announced, we’ve had teases here and there for the Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition, all we’ve really known is that it will release this summer for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.  Well now we have more details, as well as some gameplay footage with the announcement trailer, as well as some screenshots and art work.

The Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition will be digital only, and will run at 1080p/60fps.  It will also feature 5 playable characters joining Dante and Nero.  You will be able to play as Dante’s twin brother Vergil, who is said to have been “upgraded moves and graphics since his appearance in Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening Special Edition.”  You will also be able to play as Trish during Dante’s missions and the demon hunter Lady during Nero’s.

This special edition of DmC4 will also feature a wave-based mode known as Legendary Dark Knight, which first featured in the PC version of Devil May Cry 4.  This mode will feature an increasing number of enemies with added difficulty to test your skills against to stack up your combo scores.

Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition will release for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One this coming summer.  Recently we published our review of the DmC: Definitive Edition, giving it a worthy score of 8.8, you can check out our review here.
