Disney Infinity 2.0 Gets Toy Box Starter Pack Announced

Disney has announced that there will be a special Disney-themed Toy Box Starter Pack launching this November. The Disney Infinity: Toy Box Starter Pack (2.0 Edition) will give players more options in the Infinity Universe  as they will be compatible with the Marvel Play Sets.

The Starter Pack contains Merida and Stitch, allowing players for the first time ever to create stories for both of these characters. Not only that, but Disney Infinity 2.0 will be compatible with existing characters from Disney Infinity, making them playable in the Toy Box 2.0 mode.

The Toy Box Starter Pack will be compatible will all previous Disney Infinity content, and future content.

“Disney Infinity fans spend the majority of their time inside the Toy Box mode, and with our new Toy Box Starter Pack, we’re giving Disney fans an alternative entry point to the Disney Infinity sequel,” said John Blackburn, Vice President and General Manager of Avalanche Software. “We’ve completely re-tooled the Toy Box for this year’s version of Disney Infinity, and we want every Disney fan to experience it using their favorite Disney or Marvel characters.”

The Disney Infinity: Toy Box Starter Pack (2.0 Edition) will be launching on November 4,  at the price of $59.99 (£35.99) (slightly less than the $74.99 (£50) Marvel Super Heroes edition).  Which one will you pick up at launch? Let us know in the comments section or on Twitter.
