Larian Studios have announced that Divinity: Original Sin has now officially entered beta testing. Introducing a ton of new content totaling to 400 new improvements according to their website! Along with a full list of patch notes and changes, they also released a beta trailer alongside it. Have a peek and check out some of the changes made in the newest patch afterwards (below the trailer). The beta claims to currently contain 20 hours of gameplay content.

Now for some of my favourite changes! You can get a full list of patch notes on their forums here.

  • Revamped Character Creation UI and more character customisation!
  • A bunch of new skills – over 60 if you want a rough estimation. You are also able to combine skills together, though not entirely sure of the extent of this yet.
  • Over all new content (zones, foes, items etc.), as a lot of it was blocked off during alpha for obvious reasons.
  • More music and sound effects.
  • General improvements to UI, graphics and loading times.

The game is available on Steam as Early Access if you want to check it out now, it’s currently priced at $39.99/£29.99/€39.99
